Judge’s Conference Room, Third Floor
[THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED TO A LATER DATE]

Sometimes being a good litigator is antithetical to being a good advocate in mediation. In this interactive, hands-on session, attorneys will learn how to use a mediation to get the best possible deal for a client. Participants will learn the difference between interest-based negotiation and positional bargaining and will work on skills for negotiating effectively in each. Participants will learn how to make the mediator their ally, how to prepare for mediation, and how to master the personal qualities that allow them to maximize their clients’ goals in mediation. Tucson magistrate judges will be present to discuss local practices.

This event may qualify for up to 2 hours of CLE credit and is free of charge.
