The first CLE luncheon of our 2006-07 event calendar is set for this Thursday, September 14. It’s a Federal Bench and Bar event designed to put you, the federal practitioner, in direct contact with Tucson Division judges and their staff. We’re excited to welcome District Judges Raner C. Collins and Frank R. Zapata, Magistrate Judge Bernardo P. Velasco, and staff from the chambers of District Judge David C. Bury and Magistrate Charles R. Pyle.

Even though we emailed our announcement over the Labor Day weekend, we had over 30 RSVPs by the following Tuesday, so we expect the event to sell out. If you want to attend, please contact kdresback [at] lrlaw [dot] com (Kenna Dresback) as soon as possible.
I hope most of you received our email notification. If you didn’t and are interested in receiving future program notifications, please subscribe to our mailing list using the form on the right side of the website.
I also encourage you to consider joining the Federal Bar Association and our chapter to receive discounted CLE, advance notification of events, access to national Sections and Divisions, and members-only newsletters with district and national updates.
I hope to see you on Thursday!
